Upior Combat Tips
Sand Wraith
Weakness Detail
The Sand Wraith Power Core is exposed during its charge attack animation. This 3-second window is the only time you can deal significant damage. The core is located on its back, requiring flanking or a coordinated distraction.
Combat Strategy
Never engage a Sand Wraith head-on. Assign one crew member as bait to trigger its charge while the rest flank to attack the Power Core. Bring Railguns for maximum damage during the vulnerability window. If you lack heavy weapons, retreat and regroup.
Recommended Weapons
Never engage alone. Target the exposed Power Core during attack animations with concentrated fire.
Dune Stalker
Weakness Detail
Exposed joints on all four limbs can be targeted to cripple the Dune Stalker movement. Destroying both front joints permanently reduces its speed by 60%, making it vulnerable to ranged attacks.
Combat Strategy
Focus fire on the joints first to immobilize the Dune Stalker. A stationary Dune Stalker is far less dangerous. Use Rifles for precision joint shots, then close in with Shotguns once it is slowed. Avoid standing directly in front of it.
Aim for exposed joints to cripple their flanking speed. Circle formation counters pack tactics.
Dust Crawler
Weakness Detail
The Dust Crawler head has a glowing weak point that pulses before it attacks. Aiming for this spot deals triple damage and can stagger the creature, interrupting its attack.
Combat Strategy
Wait for the head pulse animation before firing for maximum damage. The Dust Crawler telegraphs its attacks, giving you time to line up headshots. Keep medium distance.
Use Heavy Cannon at chokepoints to clear swarms. Head shots deal bonus damage.
Scrap Golem
Weakness Detail
Back plates can be pried off with melee attacks, revealing the internal mechanisms. Once exposed, the Scrap Golem takes 50% more damage from all sources. Flanking is essential.
Combat Strategy
Send one player around the back to pry off plates while others distract from the front. Once plates are removed, everyone should focus fire on the exposed mechanisms. Heavy Cannons excel at breaking through the remaining armor.
Recommended Weapons
Flank to target back plates. Frontal assault wastes ammo against its heavy armor.
Sand Swarm
Weakness Detail
Fire and explosive weapons are the only effective counter. Individual swarm members are immune to single-target damage. Area-of-effect attacks hit multiple swarm members simultaneously.
Combat Strategy
Equip Leviathan and Heavy Cannon before engaging. Create denial zones that the swarm must pass through, then bombard with explosives. Never use single-target weapons.
Recommended Weapons
Explosives and fire disperse the swarm immediately. Clear it to maintain visibility.
Rust Lurker
Weakness Detail
No specific weakness. Any weapon is effective. Rust Lurkers are low-threat enemies designed for new players to practice combat. Focus on headshots for quick takedowns.
Combat Strategy
Treat Rust Lurkers as target practice. Use them to warm up your aim at the start of a session. They are great for testing new weapons and practicing headshots. No special strategy needed.
Any weapon works — save your ammo for bigger threats. Their presence means you're weakened.
